Yes, it’s already time to start thinking about Fall fashions. The designer shows are in full in swing in Paris. High Fashion Project reports on the hair and makeup.

One theme stands out overall: nonchalance. Makeup is nude or nearly-naked, neutral, understated. Hair is casual, unfussy, sexy, simple. The details and drama are reserved for the clothes.

Even evening hair, pulled up or back, refuses to work too hard at it.

Any hairstyling is made to look as though it happened by accident: “Oh, this is just how my hair looks after wearing it in a braid.” The main thing is to look, as said before, nonchalant from the neck up.

The black headband re-emerges even Charlize Theron sports one. The look is clean or tousled hair effortlessly held back with a black, possibly velvet, band. Decoration sometimes is added with a glamorous brooch.

Glamour girls, if you’re feeling left behind, fear not. Red lipstick makes an appearance every now and then. And you know the rule about red lipstick, right? The rest of the face should be neutral. So there you are: you can have your neutral cake and eat your red lipstick, too.
